Delete your account

You can delete your wello account and personal data at any time. This page explains how to do it, what is removed, and how long it takes — in line with Google Play and Apple App Store requirements and India's DPDP Act.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)

Open the wello app.
Go to Settings → Account.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm. Your account and data are scheduled for deletion immediately.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email hello@welloapp.co from the email or with the mobile number associated with your account, with the subject "Delete my wello account". We verify your identity before deleting, and complete verified requests within 30 days.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

Your profile and account details (name, mobile number, photo).
Health records you created — medications, schedules, dosage logs, uploaded lab reports and notes.
Care-circle relationships you own.
Analytics identifiers linked to your account.

What may be retained, and for how long

We delete or irreversibly anonymise your personal data within 30 days of a confirmed request. We may retain a limited set of records for longer only where the law requires it (for example, basic transaction or security logs), or to resolve disputes and enforce our terms. Anything retained is kept secure and is not used to identify you for any other purpose.

Important notes

Deletion is permanent. Once your data is deleted it cannot be recovered.
If you share a care circle, records owned by other caregivers are not deleted when you leave — only the data you own is removed.
Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account. Use one of the options above.
